Instagram’s latest long format video feature is called IGTV. Here influencers can post 60 Sec+ videos in their channels. As Instagram is already very popular with millennial and the audience is shifting towards mobile, can it pose a challenge to Youtube?
If we closely analyse, IGTV is more of a standalone app and not a platform like Youtube. It’s monetisation model is yet not finalised and its user experience needs improvement. IGTV has to go a long way improving its search, increase content and make finding videos easier.
If all this is done, IGTV can lock horns with Youtube.
